Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambore National Park is located in sawaimadhopur district of Rajasthan. It is worldwide known for its tiger population. Day by day tiger population increasing in ranthambore due to its natural environment. Ranthambore is having area of 382 km². Only a percentage area is open for Tourist Safari and rest area is for wildlife conservation. Safari area is devided in 1 to 10 zones. There are two types of safari vehicle allowed in ranthambore one is Gypsy which is open jeep type vehicle having max. 6 pax. capacity other is canter which is open bus type vehicle having capacity of max. 20 pax.

Ranthambore National Park Safaris are devided in two shift. One is Morning Shift and other is Afternoon Shift. Both shifts timings are metioned below in Timing Table.

Ranthambore Safari Zones
As The Tigers can freely move from one zone to another but they have their own territory. These zone devidation is only on the basis of tiger mostly seen in them.

How To Reach Ranthambore
By Air: The nearest airport is Sanganer airport in Jaipur, which is about 180 kms and 3:30 Hour drive from the Ranthambore. Jaipur is well connected to New Delhi and Mumbai with daily flights operated by domestic airlines. The flying distance from Jaipur to Delhi is thirty minutes and from Mumbai to Jaipur is one hour & thirty minutes.
By Rail: Sawai Madhopur is on the main railway line between Delhi and Mumbai and is also well connected to Jaipur. There are regular super fast trains like Jan Shatabdi, Rajdhani between these destinations. The travel time from Sawai Madhopur to Jaipur is approximately two hours and thirty minutes, to Delhi is 5 hours and to Mumbai is around fifteen hours.
By Road: Sawai Madhopur is about 3:30 Hour away from Jaipur, 6 Hour away from Agra and 8 Hour away from Dehli. All are connected through national highway.
